I believe that every person can make the best judgement call for themselves. Sure, we are all human and sometimes (at least for myself) our decisions don’t always pan out. And even then, we can all learn from the mistake and move forward. Here’s why I believe your intuition is your best super power:
1. Go with your gut. My mom is famous for saying this. She would always say, “Go with your gut. You know what is best for you.” How often do we find ourselves not going with what our gut tells us and we end up getting hurt in the process? I know I’ve made that mistake one too many times. Sure, the decision could be scary and it might not fit into your master plan at the moment, but for the most part, your gut is never wrong. 2. You just have to get there. I was talking with my sister the other day and she told me know about a business venture that just was not panning out. Sure the idea and future of it sounded great, but the reality of the situation was not working. Her gut was telling her that she needed to move on even though in her mind, she had not seen this business through. I remember telling her, “You have to mentally get there.” I think it takes certain situations to not pan out in order to get there. Meaning you can’t move forward with your life until you fall first. 3. You are strong. I think a lot of times we don’t follow through with our intuition because it is just too scary. Sometimes one of the best ways to hit the power switch is to just do it. Follow your intuition even if you have to trust blindly. There is a reason why you feel the way you do even if you can’t see the end of the road yet. My take away… Your Intuition is your super power. It will guide you to your best self. All you have to do is trust. Go with your gut. Maybe you have to fall first in order to get there and move on with your life. If so, that is okay in my book. At the end of the day, you are strong. Follow your intuition, even if that means going in blindly. It doesn't matter whether you fail while trying, the good news is you will always learn something out of that experience.
