DBT & FAP
Ever hear of DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) or FAP (Functional Analytic Psychotherapy)? It is at this workshop that you will learn the necessary techniques within these two methods.
DBT is a great method to use to aid clients in regulating emotions. Through this method you will learn skills such as mindfulness, immersing, and reinforcing. FAP is another method to help strengthen the therapeutic relationship (rapport building) as well as beginning the process of challenging clients. It is through FAP that you will learn how to make adjustments to your clinical skills as well as apply appropriate changes with your clients.
