Course Description:
Clinical supervision serves as an important role in helping guide counselor professionals in the field. The value of processing cases and helping counselors identify new tools and techniques to utilize with their clients is invaluable.
Personal and professional growth is essential to professional and personal development. Identifying your own needs and self-care is a part of being able to provide counseling to others in an affective manner.
This workshop will assist with defining the role of the clinical supervisor and supervisee. As well as understanding the different models of supervision and identifying what may work best for you as a clinical supervisor.
Speaker: Jennifer Budruweit, MA, LCPC, GC-C
Jennifer is a dedicated Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and Certified Grief Counselor. Jennifer earned a Master's of Arts degree from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology as a member of Chi Sigma Iota. She also received certification in Grief Counseling through the American Institute of Health Care Professionals.
Jennifer is the owner and clinical director of a private practice, Life Balance Counseling in Schaumburg and Oak Brook Terrace, IL. Jennifer has been providing supervision to Licensed Professional Counselors and understands the importance of clinical supervision and professional development.
Jennifer specializes in working with children and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, behavior issues, social and emotional challenges and grief and loss. Jennifer has a passion for working with individuals and families experiencing grief and loss and helps them find ways to cope with their challenges during difficult times.
